"Dog pile" Naps and "Popcorn" Play....

....the kids are doing well and ready to be turned out....one sure sign is that the kidding pens look like they are full of "popcorn" as "Little Bullman", "Cloverbud" and I call it....the kids are bouncing around and playing...when they do that they look like "popcorn" popping...sometimes even "Fluff" the orphan kitten gets in on the action...generally a "popcorn" play session is followed by a "dog pile" nap....where the little babies tucker out and fall asleep......

It is Kidding Time at Gee Tee Livestock

Welcome!

It is January and that means kidding time for anyone that is in the breeding phase of the 4-H Meat Goat project. We are happy to report that we have finished the first round with a total of 5 kids, one set of twins and one set of triplets. We have another 2 does that are scheduled to kid in March.

One of our fellow goat project members and mentor is blogging about her kidding experiences so "Little Bullman" and I decided to give it a try. So, more posts will follow about 4-H, goats and kidding thru the eyes of a 9 yr old and an 'newbie' 4-H goat mom!
